Morse Timing Inspector
Morse code is rhythm, not just dots and dashes. Every symbol and silence is a whole number of units.
0total units
0units of signal on
0duration at this speed
0standard words (message + closing word gap ÷ 50)
Rules used: dot = 1 unit, dash = 3, gap inside a letter = 1, gap between letters = 3, gap between words = 7. Speed follows the PARIS standard: one “word” is 50 units, so a unit lasts 1200 ÷ WPM milliseconds. Timings run to the end of the last symbol, with no trailing word gap.
